who the heck am I and how did I get here?
I was born and raised in the Washington dc area and moved out west to go to college. my lifelong obsession with National Geographic magazine led me to study anthropology. I detoured for a while and worked as a cpa and financial consultant, but images and stories of people and places continued to inspire me. being behind the camera allows me to record life’s authentic, quirky and unexpectedly wonderful moments and share them with others. lucky for me, recording images and stories is what I get to do now with my photography.
